DALLAS, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Stating that the A.L.B.R.C. shares the general opinion of most political pundits: "marriage for gays" probably cost the Democrats the election, Kendrick Faggett, A.L.B.R.C. Chairman, says members are delighted over the re-election of President Bush and the Republican gains in Congress.
"The A.L.B.R.C. will continue to work with Congressman Pete Sessions and our other brothers and sisters of the Republican Party as we move to achieve the social, political and economic empowerment of Black same gender-loving (SGL) men and women within the framework of Republican Compassionate Conservatism. Two members of the A.L.B.R.C. are currently preparing to run for seats on the Dallas City Council and Dallas School Board in the upcoming spring local elections. This is a new beginning, we will fight on, and we will continue win," said Faggett.
The A.L.B.R.C. considers the AIDS crisis "out of control" in Black America. "We believe that since the beginning of the domestic AIDS crisis, an elite group of gays have dominated how dollars would be spent and on whom. Blacks are 13% of the U.S. population and over 50% of all U.S. HIV/AIDS cases. It is time for change from the top on down," said A.L.B.R.C. Secretary, Tramel Borner.
Don Sneed, A.L.B.R.C. co-founder and Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PAHCA) Council Member added that he is still convinced that the AIDS crisis and the resultant billions of dollars and sympathy that flowed into the gay community was used, as leverage, to bankroll this elite group into a position of economic, social and political power to force marriage for gays on America. On November 2, America rejected the creation and legitimization of two new human genders: gay and lesbian.
The A.L.B.R.C. considers the AIDS crisis the number one issue impacting Black SGLs.
"When it comes to Blacks and AIDS, there must be a new way of doing business -- immediately," said Chairman Faggett. "Based upon the election and the will of the majority of Americans, we will not stand idle and allow the gay community to continue to dominate federal AIDS Relief Funds. The gay community worked and spent tens of millions of dollars to defeat the President. The Black SGL youth of the A.L.B.R.C. stood alone and supported the President with whatever we had. Over 50% of the HIV/AIDS cases in America are Black, and the gay community is not qualified to resolve this crisis. The A.L.B.R.C. supports PAHCA Council Member Sneed and his proposed recommendations to PAHCA, which were released at the United States Conference on AIDS. We also have two additional recommendations that we have asked PAHCA Councilman Sneed to bring to the table: 1) No organizations that also have staff members actively engaging in activities that would impose marriage for gays on America should be allowed to receive federal funds for AIDS relief; 2) With the majority of HIV/AIDS cases in America being Black and rising, we call upon the President to appoint a qualified Black person, of the community, as AIDS Czar, and we call for changes in the Ryan White Care Act that would give the new AIDS Czar oversight and authority over all domestic federal AIDS Relief dollars."

The DVD, "The Emancipation of the Homosexual -- The End of the Gay & Lesbian Rights Movement," can be ordered at http://www.albrc-dallas.org. "Anyone, black, white, blue, brown, green or indifferent, who is gay/lesbian or knows someone who is, should see this DVD," said Sneed, the DVD's Executive Producer. "It will change your life and you will have peace with God."
