NexDose(R) helps patients take medications correctly by sounding an alarm when a dose of medication is due. For users who require extra features, NexDose(R) can handle up to 100 alarms per day, at pre-set or customizable intervals. It even supports alternate-day dosing, weekly dosing and "as needed" doses. It can be programmed to alert when prescription renewal is needed, or to determine number of doses needed for a trip. It is a stand-alone product and requires no subscription, activation, or service plan. An additional feature of NexDose(R) is optional PC software for healthcare professionals. It then allows medication counseling or compliance analysis based on real data. The software will also allow professionals to set up templates for batch programming of custom regimens into multiple devices -- ideal for clinical trials, oncology or transplant protocols.
