The Company is pleased to announce that the first set of live testing in Florida is completed with 100% accuracy. The live testing showed that the VScan HIV 1&2 Rapid test kit had 100% Sensitivity and 100% Specificity.
The VScan HIV test kit has demonstrated a very high sensitivity using whole blood. Increasingly, whole blood is the preferred test media for HIV testing because it allows the test to be performed without additional laboratory equipment. The VScan test kit has a built-in control mechanism to validate the integrity of the test procedure.
