Business Wire - November 10, 2005

LEBANON, Tenn. - Hartmann Inc., one of the country's oldest luggage and leather goods manufacturers, announced today that it has joined the fight against AIDS by partnering with the National AIDS Fund and Kimpton Hotels.

As part of its contribution, Hartmann created special, full-grain leather, red coaster set embossed with the signature AIDS ribbon. This coaster set will be sold on www.hartmann.com, the Web site of the National AIDS Fund, www.aidsfund.org as well as on the Kimpton Hotel Web site www.kimptonhotels.com.

The coasters, which sell for $75, will be available through World AIDS Day, which is December 1. Fifteen percent of all sales from the coaster set will be donated to the National AIDS Fund.

"AIDS continues to be a growing epidemic that affects so many people around the world. Corporations and individuals alike must take responsibility to fight this disease in any way possible," said David Herman, president of Hartmann. "We are proud and honored to help the National AIDS Fund with such an important cause."

"It is great to see such an iconic American brand such as Hartmann get involved in the fight against AIDS," said Kandy Ferree, president and CEO of the National AIDS Fund. "We are thrilled to have Hartmann on board and of course are very grateful for the continued support of Kimpton Hotels."

"Kimpton Hotels has a strong commitment to give back to its community," said Steve Pinetti, senior vice president, Kimpton Hotels. "The National AIDS Fund is an outstanding organization and we are proud to contribute to the efforts of raising money and spreading awareness about AIDS."
