"NDC's decision to distribute NeedleZap(R) is a tremendous boost for our ongoing efforts to penetrate the medical and dental markets," said George Breger, president, AHSP. "We anticipate almost immediate sales results from their distribution of the product."
"We are excited to bring our members a new opportunity that will provide safety to their end-user customers," states Scott Tubandt, Vice President of Vendor Services for NDC.
NeedleZap(R) was developed specifically to help reduce accidental needlestick injuries. When a used hypodermic needle is inserted into the unit, the patented electrode system disintegrates the needle in approximately two seconds at 2200 degrees F. E Med Future received an approval order from the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) on March 14, 2003 to market NeedleZap(R) in the United States.
"This agreement is another indication to us that NeedleZap(R) has a bright future in the medical marketplace," said Robert J. Ochsendorf, President, E Med Future.
