SDS Intends to Seek FDA Approval for US Marketing of its HIV1-2 Rapid Test

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 13, 2000--Saliva Diagnostic Systems, Inc. (OTC BB:SALV)

SDS will begin the process of obtaining FDA approval for its whole blood HIV1/2 rapid test using its patented Capillary Barrel System. SDS believes initial conversations with US government agencies have been extremely positive, and furthermore the Company is encouraged by their test results.

"As we move forward in a new and positive direction, SDS is committed toward developing only products and markets that have the greatest chances of commercial viability," stated Leo Ehrlich, President & CEO of SDS.
