Presented by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, this free national telephone conference call for people with HIV/AIDS will be held on March 25 at 12 noon pacific time (2 p.m. central, 3 p.m. eastern). Organized like a call-in talk show, BETALIVE! is hosted by Ron Baker, editor of the Bulletin of Experimental Treatments for AIDS (BETA).
Guests on this edition of the program will include Drs. Roy Gulick of Cornell University Medical Center, New York City; Stephen Follansbee of Davies Medical Center, San Francisco; and Mary Romeyn, in private practice, San Francisco. BETA is published by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, a nonprofit, community-based AIDS service organization that has been at the forefront of the battle against HIV disease since 1982.
BETA reports on promising treatment research, reviews important drug studies, interviews expert AIDS researchers and clinicians, and provides in-depth articles on the medical management of AIDS.
