About Planned ExtreSafe Syringe Products
SHP plans to provide a family of ExtreSafe syringe devices including safety needles which will attach to any standard syringe, an integral needle and syringe, prefilled needle safe syringes and emergency syringes. All SHP's safety devices are easy to use. To prepare each device for use, a needle is quickly and easily extended from its own sterile package. Needle retraction is activated by applying slight pressure on the side of the device, eliminating the opportunity for potentially dangerous needle movement toward the patient.
SHP now owns five Safety Cradle(r) related patents, two patents associated with its ExtreSafe Lancet and six patents which protect its ExtreSafe needle withdrawal technology. SHP has additional patents pending.
